A man has been apprehended following a dangerous outbreak of gunfire yesterday, during a suspected road-rage incident on I-95 in St. Lucie County, local authorities reported. The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest of a 31-year-old driver of a white Ford pickup, who is accused of discharging multiple rounds at another vehicle. The altercation escalated just south of Midway Road at approximately 7 p.m., according to WPTV.
“At this time, our initial investigation suggests that the suspect in this case may have been involved in a minor traffic accident with the victim’s vehicle, which appears to have escalated into road rage,” said Sheriff Keith Pearson, during an interview obtained by CBS12.
