
A rollover crash late Thursday night on San Antonio's Northeast Side left a driver trapped until firefighters could free him. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m near Perrin Beitel Road and Briar Glen, a stone's throw from Austin Highway and Loop 410, the KSAT news team detailed.
Police stated that there were no other vehicles involved in the crash, the driver of the overturned pickup was extracted by firefighters after his vehicle lost control and rested on its roof, had been trapped inside until the San Antonio Fire Department responded alongside San Antonio Police Department and EMS teams.
Though the individual sustained injuries, they were reported as non-life-threatening, adding a fortunate note to the mishap. Recovery is anticipated without major complication, Fox San Antonio reported.
As of now, the cause of the accident is still under investigation while the driver's condition continues to improve, officials are yet to release additional details, this incident serves as another stark reminder of the unpredictable nature that often accompanies driving in late hours.
