A fierce fire raged through a commercial property in Duncanville, demanding a multisquad response from neighboring fire departments. The blaze broke out on the 200 block of Woodhaven Boulevard shortly before sunset on December 3, according to the City of Duncanville.
Fighting the fire that engulfed the commercial structure, the Duncanville Fire Department was soon joined by reinforcements from Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Dallas. In a whirlwind of sirens and flashing lights, the combined forces tackled the 2-alarm fire. The flames, which had held the building in their fierce grip, were successfully extinguished by 6:14 PM.
Officials reported that the smoke had cleared without personal injury. Peering into the charred remains, the Duncanville Fire Marshal’s Office has since taken the baton, launching a full-scale investigation to unearth the inferno’s origins.
