The city's bigwigs in the Transportation and Public Works Department have pulled the curtain back on an ambitious plan to revamp West Bailey Boswell Rd., spanning from Boat Club Road to the vicinity of Old Decatur Road. This project ain't just laying down new pavement; it's rolling out a concrete divider for the bustling four-lane, adding strategic turn lanes, setting up brand-spanking-new traffic signals, and even carving out some fresh sidewalks for the foot traffic, according to the City of Fort Worth.

The city made its intentions clear—this isn't only going to be a facelift for the road, but a game changer for local traffic flow. Alongside the benefits come the temporary headaches of construction, and that’s why the bigwigs are hosting an open house meet-and-greet with the brains behind the operation, says David J. Kastendick, PE Senior Project Manager. The community's invited to chime in, scope out the blueprints, and find out how this traffic tango will affect their daily do-si-do.

So mark your calendars—Monday, December 4, from the twilight hour of 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the doors of Boswell High School cafeteria will swing open to welcome one and all. The venue's at 5805 W Bailey Boswell Rd., smack in the heart of the project's turf.
