Universal Destinations & Experiences has announced plans to open a new theme park, Universal Kids Resort, in Frisco, Texas, perfect for family outings. This new resort is designed specifically for children, featuring family-friendly attractions, interactive shows, retail opportunities, dining experiences, and numerous character meet-and-greets. To complete the experience, there will also be a 300-room-themed hotel tailored to families aiming to stay immersed in the magic, according to the City of Frisco.

Universal Creative President Molly Murphy shared, "Universal Kids Resort will inspire the unbridled creativity of kids through imagination, discovery, and, most importantly, play." The vision behind the resort is to provide a space where kids can engage with their surroundings and let their imaginations run wild, maintaining Universal's reputation for high-quality entertainment, per the City of Frisco.

The initiative is more than an entertainment venture; it's a significant economic player. The construction, which commenced in November, is expected to generate more than 2,500 construction jobs, with many more to follow once the park opens. Universal strategy involves not only building a resort but also contributing to the local community's growth and prosperity.
