It's time for dads, granddads, and uncles in Garland to shine up their dancing shoes for a night to remember with their little girls. The City of Garland has announced the Viva Havana Sweetheart Dance, set to take place on February 3, at The Atrium in the Granville Arts Center. This heartwarming event promises an unforgettable evening filled with dinner, dancing, and even a professional 5x7 photo to capture the moment, according to the City of Garland.
The dance is split into two age categories to ensure the music, and the moves align appropriately with the guests' ages. Youngsters from ages 3 to 7 are given the spotlight from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., while the older group, ages 8 to 15, takes over from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Every little girl will also receive a special gift, adding to the magic of the evening. If attendees have a sweetheart in each age category, they may choose the dance session that works best for them.
While this evening is sure to create memorable moments, it also comes with an affordable price tag. Tickets clock in at $22 per person, but those looking to snag a deal can save $2 per person if they register before the December 31st deadline. A steal, really, for a night that's likely to be etched in the attendees' — both young and seasoned — memories.
