Lovett, hailing from Lithonia, has been slapped with three counts of aggravated assault but remains at large, stirring a sense of urgency among law enforcement to apprehend him.
The altercation that spiraled into an armed encounter took place on August 5, following an argument between Lovett, his cohort Ethan Dumas, and a shoe kiosk employee, which caused a tidal wave of panic to sweep through the bustling shopping center, as reported by Atlanta News First. The ruckus fortunately resulted in no injuries, and although it left shoppers in a state of frenzy and fear, the police bravely navigated the chaos to ensure the safety of those present.
Meanwhile, Dumas, the 20-year-old Decatur resident, faced his own string of charges, including terroristic threats and acts, reckless conduct, aggravated assault, and first-degree criminal damage to property. Following the mishap, Dumas surrendered to Gwinnett County Jail on September 11, a decision that came after arrest warrants were issued for him on September 8.
