A man was busted for an alleged assault in Harris County over the weekend, authorities said, and he apparently got caught green-handed with marijuana to boot. The ruckus unfolded last Saturday in the 13800 block of Spring Cypress Road, where a deputy under the command of Constable Mark Herman responded to reports of a disturbance.
The deputy quickly slapped the cuffs on Tyler Smith after arriving on the scene, and a deeper dive into the incident unveiled that Smith had reportedly gotten physical with someone; not only was he hauled in for the alleged attack, but it turned out he was also packing weed.
"Tyler Smith was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with assault," declared Constable Herman in a statement on Facebook. His bail didn't soar high like his stash might've, set at a mere $100 out of County Court 11, according to the same release.
