Days after stumbling into the hands of the law for driving drunk, a repeat offender found himself back in handcuffs after crashing his car on a quiet street in Harris County. Korey Hanner didn't learn his lesson the first time, as he was busted again for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) following a one-vehicle wreck on Round Mountain Drive.
According to the presiding Constable Mark Herman's Office, the deputies responded to the scene on December 22, where Hanner was caught displaying unmistakable signs of inebriation. Despite Hanner's earlier encounter with the law for the same offense just days earlier, he chose to once again get behind the wheel with his faculties impaired.
Deputies conducted a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which only served to confirm their suspicions—that Hanner was indeed intoxicated. The repeat offense landed Hanner behind bars. "Korey Hanner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," Herman's office stated. His bond was set at $5,000.00 out of County Court 1, according to the Constable's Facebook post.
