Deputies attempted to halt the suspect, but he chose to dangerously flee, almost hitting construction workers, and intentionally struck a deputy's vehicle, as Caro said. The pursuit ended when the suspect crashed, leading to a fleeting on-foot escape that was quickly thwarted by law enforcement.

Separately and with hardly a breath's space between chaotic incidents, NBC Miami reported that another suspect in Broward County led police through a high-speed ballet on Wednesday. The pursuit took to the sky and the ground, involving a silver SUV wanted in relation to an aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer. After a frenetic spree on Interstate 95 and surrounding streets, the chase came to a close at a Deerfield Beach shopping plaza, followed by a foot chase that saw the suspect captured in a residential area.
