Danville Brewing Co. Ferments Excitement with Plans for New Pleasanton Beer HavenSource: Google Street View

The suds are about to flow even wider in Pleasanton as local favorite Danville Brewing Company has tapped into a new venture, revealing plans to expand its hop empire with a second location. This brewery is no small pint—coming in at an impressive, 10,000-square-foot space dedicated to everything from brewing to biergartening, the whole shindig is slated to become a buzzworthy destination.

The announcement, which fermented quite a stir online with a post that has garnered 404 likes and 153 ecstatic comments, was made on the brewery's official Instagram page. "WE ARE GROWING!!! Today we closed on a lot in Pleasanton where we will build a PRODUCTION BREWERY, TAPROOM & BIERGARTEN!!!!! This time, from the ground up!!! We are super excited to share the news of our second brewery with you, and will keep you updated throughout the process!" the brewery team posted, promising a fresh and frothy future for beer lovers. Cheers, and a hearty 'thank you' was raised to their faithful followers for their continued support.

According to a scoop by Patch, the new brewery will be built from scratch on a newly acquired acre lot somewhere around downtown Pleasanton. "We plan to build a roughly 10,000-square-foot space from the ground up that will open at some point in the next few years, though it is too early to give concrete details," General Manager Max Brown shared in the interview.

Keeping the tap of information flowing, Brown added that while the yeasty baby will ooze the same fresh, local vibe of its elder beer-filled brother, there will be some frothy differences. "Different food, different ambiance, different experience for sure," he told Patch. The planned giant biergarten is expected not just to pour out pints but to host events that they can't hold at the original Railroad Avenue location, which opened in 2016 and has since been filling the community's mugs and hearts.
