A fugitive is on the loose after being slapped with charges in connection to a November gun attack that wounded two in North Houston, as per the local authorities. Quendarious Emerson, 26, is facing some serious heat with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the City of Houston official report.
The violent episode unfolded in the early morning hours of November 21, at 3400 Cavalcade Street, where a 33-year-old woman along with a 30-year-old man were struck by bullets, the Houston Police Department said, and though the victims met the harsh bite of gunfire each is tipped to pull through, Emerson, however, slipped through the fingers of law authorities and remains on the run.
HPD's frontline responders dashed to the chaotic scene, finding a man peppered with shots and a woman wounded once, detectives V. Gamez and P. Ungaro, attached to the Major Assaults & Family Violence Division, dug into the case, peeling back its layers and nailed Emerson as their prime suspect, a discovery that led to him being charged on Dec. 19.
