Christmas Eve in LaGrange was interrupted by the sound of gunfire as a residence on Vince Sutton Boulevard came under a volley of bullets early Sunday morning. According to reports from LaGrange News, police were called to the scene after a homeowner reported several shots piercing through a window of her house. No one inside at the time was injured.
It appears that the crossfire between multiple individuals on the street led to some of the bullets going astray, with at least one lodging itself in the victim's home. Officers believe multiple people shot at each other in the roadway, hitting the victim’s house, detailed a statement obtained by Atlanta News First. The suspects, as of now, remain unidentified and at large.
The LaGrange Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any relevant information. This is an active investigation.
