Relief has washed over Long Beach as Chanty Sarin, a 43-year-old woman previously deemed at risk due to her medical and mental health issues, has been located safe in an area hospital, according to an update from the Long Beach Police Department on their official website. Sarin had vanished from her residence on Christmas morning, sparking an intense search that ended on a positive note one day after her disappearance was made public.
Before being found, Sarin had been described as an Asian woman with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a green jacket, black hoodie, and black tights, details obtained from an article by Hoodline. Authorities had highlighted the challenges in pinpointing her location due to Sarin's lack of a car, mobile phone, or any tracking device. Her destination was unknown and she may have had an unknown amount of cash, making the search more pressing but thankfully, she has been safely located.
The Long Beach Police Department, which had urgently sought the public's assistance in the search, has not yet revealed how Sarin ended up at the hospital, but they've eased the community's concern by confirming she remains unharmed.
