The Long Beach Department of Health & Human Services announced a donation drive-thru happening this Saturday, December 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The venue is at the Main Long Beach Department of Health & Human Services Facilities Center at 2525 Grand Avenue.
The call is out for warm clothing such as sweatshirts, pants, and coats. Holiday-themed gifts are also welcomed, as well as hygiene kits, backpacks with hand warmers, flashlights, and pet care kits.
The full wishlist can be checked out on the city's Facebook post. For those who can't make it but still want to spread some cheer, gift cards can be donated at the Multi-Service Center.
