Perla Mena, a 16-year-old Hispanic girl, has been reported missing since December 27, 2023, after she was last spotted on the 14000 block of Osage Avenue at 2:00 p.m., as the department seeks to locate the at-risk juvenile.
Perla is described as standing 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 118 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. Relatives say she informed a family member she was planning to go on a school trip, possibly to the mountains.
Concerns are escalating over Perla's safety as the Sheriff’s Department emphasizes the urgency of the public's aid in the search. A statement released by the department asked anyone with information about Perla Mena’s whereabouts to promptly contact the South Los Angeles Station at (310) 820-6700.
