A San Antonio neighborhood was rocked by gunfire late Tuesday night when a 41-year-old man was shot in an apparent drive-by attack on the city's East Side, authorities said. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on the 1200 block of Paso Hondo Street, close to North Walters Street and South New Braunfels Avenue, according to the police.
The victim was at home when a vehicle pulled up and unleashed several shots into the residence, striking the man. He was promptly transported to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
