Yesterday, the iconic Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus, police were called to a scene of gruesome stabbing. A victim was viciously attacked after 9 p.m. in the restaurant's parking lot, according to CBS News Boston report.
A Thanksgiving eve brawl, had previously shaken the Kowloon, less than two weeks ago. A patron expressed dismay at the recent surge in violence: "Shocking. Back to back weekends here, I don't know what's going on with the Kowloon. I think they gotta tighten up security," said Mark Sheehan, as per CBS News Boston.
The male victim was rushed to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, details of which have yet to surface. To add to the history of unrest, a video sent to Boston 25 captured the chaos of the earlier skirmish where punches were thrown – a glass bottle weaponized in a shocking display of brutality, as Boston 25 News reports.
WHDH reported that paramedics were seen providing life-saving efforts to the stabbed man. The investigations are ongoing, police say, offering no further illumination on what led to the stabbing – or the condition of the man. The Saugus Police Department has not yet disclosed any names or a possible motive behind the stabbing, leaving the town of Saugus in a state of concern.
