Three individuals found themselves handcuffed and facing charges following what began as a routine call for a business dispute in a Marietta neighborhood. Police arrived on the scene after receiving a complaint about a group of vendors who had allegedly overstayed.

Marietta police told Atlanta News First that the incident sparked when the homeowner reported a vendor refusing to leave the premises. Officers interacted with the suspected vendors and while they attempted to depart the area, officers stopped the vehicle of the vendors and, in the process of issuing a trespass warning, they discovered the driver was without a valid license. A search revealed both passengers to be in possession of firearms and illegal narcotics—a cocktail of cocaine, marijuana, and mushrooms.

According to the responding officers, the drugs and weapons found in the possession of the suspects led to the arrest of all three individuals on the spot. Each was charged with six felonies and three misdemeanors, elevating a common dispute to a matter of grave legal consequence. Notably, Channel 2 Action News reported that one of the arrested was a convicted felon found with a firearm, compounding the severity of the charges.

As detailed by the Marietta Police Department to Channel 2 Action News, originated from a discrepancy involving a moving company. The dispute allegedly stemmed from the company's workers seeking additional payment after completing a move, leading the homeowner to demand their departure and, eventually, for police involvement.
