
East Boston was rocked by violence early last Friday morning as a stabbing left one man dead in what police are calling a homicide on Gove Street. Responding to an emergency report, officers found 34-year-old Wilfredo Landaverde Arevalo with life-threatening injuries. According to the Boston Police Department, the victim, a Medford resident, was rushed to a local hospital but sadly did not survive.
Currently under the microscope of the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit, the details of the brutal attack are being combed through for leads. They have not yet released information about possible suspects or motives but are urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
