A man has been slapped with charges in a deadly wrong-way crash that occurred in Miramar last October, resulting in one fatality and injuries to two others. Arley Montenegro Cabeza is now facing the grave consequences of that fateful decision – charges that include DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide, as reported by CBS News Miami.
The catastrophic event took place on October 21, near Pines Boulevard and US 27, where Cabeza, found to be heavily intoxicated, decided to dangerously drive south in the northbound lanes, ultimately smashing head-on into an oncoming vehicle. This egregious mistake cost the driver of the other vehicle their life and severely injured two passengers, who were subsequently rushed to a local hospital.
