The hustle for a quick bite seems to just get quicker with this 48th Illinois location, skipping the sit-down atmosphere Portillo's is known for. Ensuring customers have to hardly wait around, the Rosemont spot serves up its famous Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and decadent chocolate cake with gusto. A ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. commenced the operation of the 82nd store in the franchise, swiftly followed by the revving engines of patrons eager to grab their meals on the go.
Rosemont's Portillo's stands at the bustling intersection of Mannheim and Higgins roads, embracing a nimble corner previously burdened by underdevelopment. Streaming with convenience, this site sports a diminutive lobby for the pickup of online and app-based orders, complemented by a duo of drive-through lanes efficiently wrapping around the building.
