Rio Vista cops busted a 40-year-old Isleton man for allegedly blasting a rifle at a parked pickup, authorities said.
The Rio Vista Police Department, with a helping hand from Solano County Sheriff’s Office's finest – their detectives and SWAT team swooped in and cuffed Yancy Webb on suspicion of the shooting rampage that targeted the unmoving truck, no injuries were reported from the scene that occurred last Friday night around 10:30 PM where officers were called to the heart of Rio Vista after reports of gunfire rang out, the department's Facebook page reported.
After collecting statements from those shaken by the incident and evidence, including spent rifle casings, detectives got a search warrant; the Sheriff’s massive SWAT Team raided Webb’s abode, and the suspect was collared at his lair.
The smack of handcuffs may have echoed in his ears as Webb was processed at the Rio Vista Police Department station, then ferried over to be booked at Solano County Jail in Fairfield on a slew of charges ranging from felonies to misdemeanors. They continued to dig deeper into the case in collaboration with the Solano District Attorney’s Office to ensure the paperwork was bulletproof for prosecution, according to the department’s social media update.
The case, which continues to twist and turn with each new piece of evidence unearthed by the cops, remains partially shrouded in mystery as additional info has been tightly sealed off to protect the investigation's integrity.
