The people of Round Rock can expect a host of enhancements aimed at public safety, bolstering the quality of life, and tackling infrastructure issues, as announced by Mayor Craig Morgan. The Mayor laid out these plans at the Round Rock Chamber's December Power Lunch hosted at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions earlier this month, according to the Round Rock Texas Government,
Under the domain of public safety, the city's ongoing efforts include the expansion of the Public Safety Training Center (PSTC) which Morgan proudly touched upon, mentioning, “The fact that two bonds have passed that have shown public safety is a high priority for the city is amazing,” during the event, as per Round Rock Texas.
Throughout these initiatives, Mayor Craig Morgan stressed that the primary objective for Round Rock is to keep its eye on the ball – maintaining and improving core services. The strong voter support for the bond election also reflects the community's trust in the council's strategic planning, with the Mayor praising both staff and citizens for their roles in the city's progress: "We have a great staff that makes it easy for us, and the buy-in from our citizens is what I’m most proud of," he told the attendees, reported by Round Rock Texas Government.
