Davenport, in only their second year of existence, had an 11-3 record against Tyler Chapel Hill in their 4A Division I bout. This showdown is also slated for Friday at 7:00 p.m. in Waco's McLane Stadium. Coach J.D. Zimmerhanzel praised his staff and the community for their support, as reported by FOX San Antonio.
The 6A Division I State semifinals will feature North Crowley, undefeated at 14-0, squaring up to Duncanville's 12-1 team. This match is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Mesquite's Memorial Stadium.
