A routine patrol turned uncertain for one San Antonio cop after a collision on the Northeast Side late yesterday. The officer was cruising near the intersection of Harry Wurzbach and Eisenhauer Road when a Kia trying to make a quick turn smacked into his SUV just before 9:00 p.m., the police detailed to Fox San Antonio.
The San Antonio Police Department shared that the crash resulted in a call to EMS; fortunately, it appears that severe injuries were avoided. The Kia was making the turn from Eisenhauer Road onto Harry Wurzbach when the incident unfolded. The officer's SUV sustained the brunt of the impact but walked away from the wreck, not critically harmed.
