Chaos erupted at Converse City Park when two brothers allegedly restrained and assaulted a fellow youth football league parent after an argument turned violent. Je Quan Montae Mcbride, 29, and Jeaion Donyae Mcbride, 32, are facing charges of aggravated robbery and unlawful restraint-risk of serious bodily injury following the Oct. 21 incident, KSAT reports.

The conflict began after the victim, whose name has not been released, made a social media post that mocked another player, whom the McBride brothers are related to. It is said that in an effort to clear the air, the man agreed to meet Je Quan Montae Mcbride at the park to discuss issues involving their children's youth football league. According to KENS5, the discussion spiraled into a physical altercation when the McBrides noticed a gun in the victim's vehicle. The victim's pregnant wife witnessed the scene unfold from a second vehicle and recorded the violent exchange on her cell phone as her husband was held at gunpoint.

Authorities said the incident escalated when Jeaion Donyae Mcbride arrived at the scene with a blunt object and began to crowd the man against his own vehicle. The arrest warrant affidavit detailed how an argument turned physical when Je Quan Montae Mcbride pushed and punched the man, and after the man fell to the ground, Jeaion Donyae Mcbride allegedly struck him on the head with the blunt object. During the scuffle, Je Quan Montae Mcbride snatched the pistol from the man’s car and pointed it at him while his brother continued the assault.

Eventually, the suspects fled with the victim’s gun, leaving the battered man and his shaken family at the park. "The warrants for their arrests were issued on Nov. 30, and they were booked into the Bexar County Jail this week," KSAT reported. Footage of the incident captured by the victim's wife was turned over to the San Antonio Police, providing them with evidence of the altercation.

The victim's wife acted heroically, according to court documents, placing herself on top of her husband in an attempt to shield him from further harm. This explains how she laid on top of her husband throughout the ordeal. Both Je Quan and Jeaion Mcbride now face serious charges and are currently held in custody as they await further legal proceedings.
