A tech-savvy car owner and the San Antonio Police Department outfoxed a teen car theft ring after the owner tracked down their stolen vehicle to a home on the Northeast Side. The quick-acting owner managed to soon track the stolen car to a residential garage on Monte Leon Street. Upon arrival, officers were granted access to the property by a cooperative mother, who apparently was the parent of one of the suspects. It was inside this garage that police stumbled upon the stolen vehicle. "Police questioned four teens, but ended up taking two of them into custody," KENS 5 noted in their coverage of the incident.
