Officers from the SFPD Tenderloin Station were called to the scene after receiving reports of the incident at approximately 9:29 a.m. "When officers arrived at the scene, they located a man with an apparent gunshot wound," KRON4 detailed in their coverage.
The officers present were quick to swiftly render aid and called for paramedics to further attend to the victim, whose condition has not yet been disclosed by the authorities. Subsequently, police managed to take a suspect into custody on the 400 block of Hyde Street, as reported. However, the suspect's identity has yet to be released, pending the ongoing investigation.
