Two Chicago women have been slapped with serious charges after a brazen robbery and assault. Tamara Carter, 35, of the 3800 block of W. Wilcox Ave., and Stacey Sanders, 36, of the 0-100 block of S. Mason St., are both facing one felony count of robbery and one felony count of aggravated battery in a public place.
The Chicago Police Department reported that the duo was nabbed on December 21st at about 7:55 p.m. near N. Noble St.; this came shortly after they allegedly attacked and robbed a 29-year-old woman in the 700 block of N. Elizabeth Ave, and not even half an hour had passed before justice began to catch up with the suspects who were quickly located and apprehended.
The victims' ordeal, which unfolded in the 12th District, was swiftly acted upon by law enforcement officials leading to the arrest of Carter and Sanders, who now await a detention hearing scheduled for December 23, 2023, at the courtroom located at 2600 S. California.
