A devastating car crash in North Miami Beach has claimed the lives of two individuals, police confirmed. The incident, which occurred Saturday afternoon, involved a vehicle that collided with a power pole on U.S. 1 near Northwest 172nd Street, leading to a lethal blaze.
According to WSVN, the North Miami Beach Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units arrived on the scene to find the victim's car in flames after striking the power pole. Footage of the incident showed the car completely engulfed in fire, making it clear early on that survival chances were bleak, if not extinct.
The police effort to rescue the trapped occupants was in vain. Despite their attempts, they were unable to save the individuals inside the vehicle.
