Two suspects have been nabbed in connection with a deadly shooting on Garfield Street in LaGrange on December 20, where Jonathan Daniel lost his life in what seemed to be a robbery attempt gone wrong. As reported by Fox 5 Atlanta, Antonio Stephens and Jesse Houston now face felony murder charges, with Houston also looking at additional counts for possession of a firearm during a felony and an attempt to sell marijuana.
Details are emerging that Daniel and Stephens were embroiled in an attempted heist targeting Houston, which tragically led to Daniel's death when Houston turned the gun on him, Houston was arrested on December 28, while Stephens had been taken into custody a week earlier on December 21, this comes after the LaGrange Police Department responded to a distressing call about a person shot.
22-year-old Jonathan Daniel was pronounced dead by Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley, following the shooting incident.
