
Shortly before 12:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4800 block of South Hermitage Avenue. The unidentified man, believed to be about 35, was found and transported to UChicago Medicine in critical condition, the Chicago Tribune reports.
No arrests have been made as the search for suspects continues. Area One Detectives are leading the investigation into the shooting. No further details regarding potential motives or suspects have been released at this time.
