In a routine traffic intervention, a wanted felon's brief stint on the lam screeched to an end in Harris County. According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, Joseph Calitine, who was a passenger in a vehicle halted in the 18600 block of TC Jester Boulevard, was discovered to be burdened with two active felony warrants yesterday.
The warrants, specifically for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Theft of Material—copper, were the legal albatross swiftly identified to hang around Calitine's neck. Deputies proceeded to execute the arrest fast and subsequently placed Calitine under the stark and unyielding light of the county jail's intake process. "Joseph Calitine was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the warrants," Constable Mark Herman announced via a Facebook post.
As of the issuance of this report, Calitine's future remains in the limbo of judicial processing, with the bond set to be determined and court dates yet to find their place on the docket.
