A late-night stabbing on a Windsor roadway has led to an ongoing investigation by the Windsor Police Department. Officers were called to the scene near Windsor Road and Wall Street shortly before the clock struck twelve on Saturday, December 16, where they found a man with a severe puncture wound. The victim, discovered bleeding and drifting in and out of consciousness, was promptly given medical attention before being whisked away to a local hospital, the Town of Windsor Police Department reported.
With the victim unable to offer a clear account of the events due to his state, police pieced together clues that pointed them to a nearby residence believed to be where the stabbing took place. According to a post by Sgt. Jeff Toney, detectives from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes Unit, were called in to dig deeper into the incident's circumstances.
Investigators obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence, unearthing evidence related to the violent act. Despite the victim's uncooperative stance when interviewed at the hospital, detectives continue to pursue the case with vigor. The nature of the evidence discovered has yet to be disclosed publicly, but it has been collected for further analysis as part of the active investigation.
