A veteran educator, 71-year-old Alice Barbee, is the subject of both administrative and criminal inquiries following the confrontation with a 15-year-old pupil, which did not result in injury. After receiving the call at 8:33 a.m. on December 4, deputies swiftly intervened at the scene at 7600 Sage Avenue.
