The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has named Darrion McKinnon as the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred on January 2 in South Bay, according to a CBS12.
McKinnon, 19, has been charged with first-degree murder following the incident which left a man dead from gunshot wounds.
Responding to the scene of the crime at 11:18 p.m. on Palm Beach Road near South Bay's City Hall and Fire Department, deputies found the victim in a parking lot, struggling with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, as a spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, as per Fox29.
Mckinnon was apprehended on Saturday afternoon and is being held without bond. A news release by spokesperson Teri Barbera announced that his next court appearance is scheduled for February 5 at 10:30 a.m.
