A pair of alleged mail thieves were nabbed by deputies after causing a commotion on the Northwest Freeway, authorities say. Lieutenant Jackson and his team from Constable Mark Herman's Office brought the male and female suspects into custody amidst a disturbance in the 26200 block of the busy thoroughfare.

According to officials, upon the deputies' arrival, the male suspect made a run for it. The brief foot chase concluded with the suspect being detained. A Facebook post by Precinct 4 lauded the efforts, saying "Great work C4!!".

Investigation at the scene unfolded more to the story: both individuals were found holding counterfeit master keys to mailboxes and, had a collection of stolen mail and packages.

Constable Mark Herman’s Office has not released the identities of the individuals involved, pending further investigation.
