As the clock struck midnight, heralding the arrival of a new year, St. David’s HealthCare in Austin, Texas, had its momentous occasion to celebrate—the delivery of the first baby of 2024. A little girl named Aralyn affectionately nicknamed Ari, became the first addition to the city’s population in the new year, born at 12:10 a.m. at St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, reported by CBS Austin.
While the whole city was possibly still kicking up its heels in New Year's revelry, this seven-pound, 15-ounce bundle of joy was making her debut, and at 20 inches long, she made quite the entrance.
Still, amidst the clamor of celebrations and maybe even a few fireworks popping off, it remains unknown whether Ari holds the title of the very first baby born in Austin as we head into 2024, as per CBS Austin.
