
Flames ripped through a multi-family dwelling in Hyde Park late Wednesday night, leaving several Boston residents without a home. The blaze, which ignited at 12 Dana Ave, was battled by local firefighters, who managed to contain the inferno without reporting any injuries. Despite their efforts, the incident has displaced four individuals and caused an estimated $350,000 in damages, according to a post from the Boston Fire Department.

The incident at Dana Ave has now become the subject of an intensive investigation as authorities seek to determine what sparked the fire.
Boston Fire Commissioner Jack Dempsey has stated that the quick response of the responding units prevented what could have been a more disastrous situation, information relayed by the Boston Fire Department's X account. Residents escaped physical harm.
The displaced residents are currently being assisted by disaster relief organizations, with efforts underway to provide them with temporary housing and necessary aid. The close-knit Hyde Park community has also stepped in, providing support and resources to those impacted by the fire.
