According to 7NEWS, the police confirmed that the stabbing took place on Washington Street which led to one person suffering serious injuries. The severity of the confrontation was further evidenced by the collective response of law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel spotted by a 7NEWS crew attending to the grim tableau unfolding on the streets of Downtown Crossing.
