The Boston Police Department has released an urgent alert, calling on the public's help to locate 53-year-old Christopher Hammond, a resident of The South End, who went missing on January 13. According to a police statement, Hammond was last spotted on Harrison Ave at 7 PM; he was dressed in a black jacket, a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black boots, and wearing eyeglasses at that time.
Described as a black male with short grey hair, standing at approximately 5'8" and weighing around 170 lbs, Hammond has no reported intellectual disabilities or medical complications that might contribute to his disappearance, the Boston Police statement shared further details regarding his physical description and the fact that he was glasses, the police have also shared images and encouraged those who might have seen him, or know of his whereabouts to come forward.
In their continued effort to find Hammond, authorities are urging anyone who holds any information to either dial 911 or contact the D-4 detectives directly at (617) 343-5619.
