Bush, the multi-platinum rock band famous for their '90s hits, is preparing to hit the road with the "Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour." This tour is set to arrive in San Antonio this September, marking 30 years of their musical journey. They will be performing at the Freeman Coliseum on Sept. 4, with special appearances by Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains fame and the alternative rock band Candlebox. While additional acts are anticipated to join the lineup, they are still under wraps.
Fans eager to secure their spots will be interested to know that tickets and VIP packages went on presale earlier today at 11 a.m., while the general public can grab theirs starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, as reported by KSAT. As a special treat, a limited number of tickets are priced at the throwback rate of $19.94, in a nod to the year their seminal album "Sixteen Stone" dropped.
But the band isn't just stopping in Texan territory. According to a news release from Billboard, the tour will launch on July 26 at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, OR, and is slated to span across 32 North American cities. The tour itinerary promises to take Bush from the concrete sprawls of Chicago to the scenic views of Denver and will eventually close out in the iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 15.
The tour supports the band's latest compilation, "Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023," which features a mix of their seven No. 1 singles, a fresh track titled "Nowhere to Go but Everywhere," and to cap it off, a studio cover of the Beatles' "Come Together." Die-hard fans will be glad to revel once again in anthems like "Everything Zen" and "Glycerine," to name just two from the heavyweight list of their chart-toppers. An artist presale is set to kick off at noon ET on Tuesday, with VIP packages soon to follow, and then a general onsale set to break loose on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
