A Chicago man was slapped with multiple felony charges after allegedly gunning down a 33-year-old woman, authorities said Thursday. Louie Foster, 32, of the 4900 block of S. Paulina St., is facing a charge of first-degree murder among other counts in connection to the fatal shooting.
According to the Chicago Police Department, Foster was arrested on January 15 at 3:47 p.m. and was identified as the shooter who killed the unnamed female less than 15 minutes earlier in the 4800 block of S. Ashland, in addition to the first-degree murder charge, prosecutors have hit him with a charge of murder with a strong probability to cause death or injury and another for being an armed habitual criminal.
The tragic event unfolded in Chicago's 9th District where responding officers quickly apprehended Foster near the scene of the shooting, a Detention Hearing for Foster was scheduled on January 18 at 2600 S. California, but no further information regarding the case was provided in the immediate aftermath of the arrest.
