The Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 14-year-old Miracle Pearce, who was last seen in the Greater Ashburn Community. Pearce is described as a Black female, 4 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was reported missing from the 7700 block of South Kedzie Avenue on January 18, 2024, according to a notice published by the police.
Details surrounding Pearce's disappearance remain unclear but authorities have indicated that she is known to frequent areas including the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue, and, the 7900 block of South Dobson Avenue in Chicago. The last contact with Pearce was made by family members on January 18, but since then she has not been seen or heard from.
Police are asking the public to come forward with any information that could help locate Pearce. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is encouraged to call the Area One Detectives-SVU office at 312-747-8380, or to dial 911 immediately.
