
Officials have clamped down a full closure of the county government offices and courts today, as a Winter Weather Advisory points to the making of some pretty hair-raising travel conditions.
Residents with businesses in the closed offices will need to restrain their plans. The snow and ice transforming roads into slippery surfaces suggest caution. The county's Department of Transportation crews are reportedly preparing by starting early in the morning to treat bridges, overpasses, and known trouble spots. The Board of Commissioners is also pushing their Comp Plan Meeting to another date on the calendar, they're rescheduling but no word yet on when this pow-wow will go down according to the announcement released on the county's official website.
The Department of Transportation workers in the county will endure the cold weather to ensure that the streets remain just about manageable.
For the State Court, they'll need to activate the phone on Wednesday to contact the clerk's office and request a new court date,a snippet of info shared on the county's news release suggests calling 770-528-2660 to reschedule once the ice thaws and business can carry on as usual.
