The Coon Rapids Police Department is ready to square off against the Coon Rapids MN Fire Department in a charity hockey game to remember. The faceoff is set for 12:30 p.m. on January 28, and the stakes are nothing but bragging rights and community spirit.
There's more to this match than meets the eye, with "a little help" from the local legends, the MN Blue Ox Jr. A' Hockey Club. Members of the junior team will hit the ice in support of both public service teams, potentially evening out the playing field, or, should we say ice, according to the City of Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
