Following up on the tempest, Tuesday is looking sunny with a high around 49 degrees, still windy, with west-northwest winds decreasing from 25 to 30 mph to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon, and gusts could still hit 45 mph.
By Tuesday night, we get a short-lived reprieve as the skies stay clear and temperatures dip to around 33. The wind takes a breather, slowing down to 5 to 15 mph and then turning south after midnight with gusts up to 20 mph. Come Wednesday, the sun stays in play and the high climbs back up to a more comfortable 62 degrees, with south winds blowing at 10 to 20 mph, gusts possibly reaching 30 mph.
Wednesday Night's forecast promises clear skies, chasing the city with a low of around 41. You'll feel a milder south-southwest wind at about 10 mph. Thursday warms up even more with a sunny high near 67, and those south winds will keep breezing through at 10 to 15 mph, gusts tagging along at up to 25 mph. Temperatures take a tumble Thursday night, though, as the chance for showers sneaks back in after midnight and the low drops to around 38, with the south wind turning west northwest after midnight and gusts reaching up to 30 mph.
Heading into Friday, most of the clouds have high-tailed it out, leaving behind a mostly sunny sky with a high near 45. However, it's going to be another breezy day with a west-northwest wind at 20 to 25 mph, and gusts as high as 40 mph. Friday night also sees a drop in temperature to around 26. The weekend keeps the sunshine in business with highs around 46 on Saturday and a modest climb to near 48 on Sunday, both evenings setting into the chilling low 20s, per the National Weather Service.
