A man was fatally shot late Friday night in Dallas, authorities say, in a violent incident that has spurred a police investigation.
The Dallas Police Department responded to the shooting at approximately 11:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of S. Westmoreland Road, where a man was found lying in the street with gunshot wounds, the department said.
