Authorities in Dallas are on the hunt for suspects involved in a pair of home burglaries, and they're calling on the public for assistance. Dallas Police have released details of two incidents where individuals were duped by suspects posing as a business, resulting in theft of property from their homes.
The first burglary took place on December 13, shortly after 5 p.m. on Northhaven Road, where a homeowner was engaged in conversation with one male suspect under the guise of business dealings, only to be robbed by another male suspect, who furtively entered the residence and took items without permission. The suspects, who remain at large, executed a similar scheme on December 30, around 10:30 p.m. on Westpark Drive, this time making their getaway in a black Chevrolet, model unknown.
These break-ins are a cause for concern in the community, prompting the Dallas Police to ask anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects to step forward. Detective Cade Mullins of the Dallas Police is handling the investigations and can be reached directly with any pertinent details that could aid in the apprehension of the criminals, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Citizens are also reminded to stay vigilant against scams and to report suspicious activities or incidents to local law enforcement. In the event of falling victim to such crimes, immediate contact with the authorities is crucial. The investigations for the reported burglaries are referenced by case numbers 221224-2023 (Northhaven) and 232795-2023 (Westpark). Home surveillance photos of the suspects have been made available, offering a glimpse of who the police are looking for.
